In august Kiev gonna have smell of debris
Hope on solving the problem that the companies shipping domestic solid waste had entertained at the beginning of July (MSW) had not been realized. The question of payment of the municipal administration of the debt did not resolved. The debt arose from the difference between economic and actual tariffs. And today it is 40 million hryvnia.
"Attempts by the mayor's office to rectify the situation by increase in royalties from the new tariffs for rent and utilities have not been successful because of the blocking decisions by KSCA Shevchenkivskyi court of Kyiv. But nothing else local state administration did not offer. They ignored even today's press conference at which we invited ", - says Director of GreenCo Nikolai Tkachenko.
"Our workers do not receive wages for June, we can not settle on contracts for diesel fuel has already been used. And then another “Energia” plant, which is responsible for disposing of household waste at its sites, raised our tariffs at 27% for the reception of garbage", - complains Head of "Celtic" Zynaida Pidduvna.
"If the situation is not resolved soon, then early next week will be dotty termination of waste removal by majority of companies -carriers - Nikolai Tkachenko continues - and in August we completely stop removal of garbage from the capital due to lack of fuel, freeze payment of workers wages and the arrest of accounts of legal claims of creditors. "
Interestingly, these problems relate not only to private companies operating in the market of transportation of MSW, but also state owned companies “Kievspetstrans”, "Spetskomuntehnika” and KP "ATP of Shevchenkivskyi district”. Local authorities owe them too(!).
Following today's press conference was signed by an appeal to the Chief Medical Officer of Kiev, demanding to avoid the capital of the sanitary-epidemiological disaster. A letter signed by all the private sector, and representatives of utilities, as they say, have expressed solidarity with their colleagues, but their signature did not. "We fully agree with the text of a letter, but to sign it without approval of the head can not," - said one of them, Anatoly Ponomarenko.
