The social component becomes more and more powerful part of business for many Ukrainian companies. “GreenCo-Group” is not the exception of this rule. We understand that not only the aesthetics of city’s streets, but also the ecology and the health of its citizens depend on the quality of our work. The base and the basic framework of socially focused policy of the company are the issues of improvement of ecological situation. The main elements of company’s work are the openness and the business transparency, the careful and attentive relation to personnel resources, readiness for cooperation with state and public organizations. Among set of the projects directed on improvement of society’s life are the work of the company on the issues, which help to change public’s consciousness to the waste treatment, in particular, the company’s work on introduction of system of separate solid domestic waste collection and on minimization of formation of the waste as a whole. “GreenCo” actively and steadily introduces the technologies of the waste treatment, which are recognized and accepted in all civilized world.
We give the big attention to the different actions, which help to involve the public into prevention of environmental problems of the city. In particular, the company regularly provides the cleaning days in different regions of Ukraine. We try to provide these measures with the greatest possible advertising-informational resonance and to draw the attention to environmental problems of the citizens, who do not take part in ecological actions. The most scale cleaning days were provided on July, 6th 2008 when the Day of Dnepr was celebrated, and on September, 21st, 2008 when “GrenCo” initiated the corporate cleaning day with the participation of the companies-volunteers for joint cleaning of recreational zones of Kiev city. This year, on April, 24th and 25 we took part in the cleaning day in Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk the main aim of which was cleaning of Dnepr River bank. The project provided the lessons for the pupils of schools and boarding schools, which had the ecological theme, and the competition of drawings and cleaning of Dniper’s coast. On March, 28th, 2009 the company took part in the world ecological action “Hour of the Earth”. In this day at 20.30 the employees of “GreenCo-groups” and the members of their families switched off all unessential sources of electro light for an hour in all regions of Ukraine. The main aim of the company was to unite the population of the planet in the struggle against global warming. We consider, that the initiatives of “Hour of the Earth” is very important for the making the practical contribution into the minimization of anthropogenesis change of the climate, and very significant for the formation of ecologically focused outlook of the population of the Earth.

The company and its employees regularly provide the charitable help to children’s homes.
Thus, "GreenCo-Dnepr" helps Vasilkovsky children home, which is located in one hundred and twenty kilometers from Dnepropetrovsk and exists on donations from the district budget. In anticipation of the winter season of 2008 the company replaced the windows of children's bedrooms. Systematically company buys for children stationery, clothing, toys, sweets. The personnel are actively involved in helping kids, trying to not only provide material assistance, but more often come to visit and spend more time with the children. April 22, the company congratulated the inhabitants of an orphanage with Easter.
"GreenCo-Kiev" within the framework of "The charitable assistance to children's homes" collaborated with the children's home "Prolisok", which is located in Volkovo village in Kiev area. November 11, 2008, there was the first meeting of the company with 46 children, residents of the orphanage. From the company and its employees children receive presents, sweets and toys.
In October 2008 "GreenCo-Zhytomyr" began collaborating with Denishevsky childcare home for orphans and children deprived of parental care. The company carries out repair work, brings clothes, hygiene and other basic necessities for children. In April 2009, employees of the company congratulated children on the holiday of Easter.
